Make a Mark Brussels is a make-a-thon. Since 2016, hundreds of creatives have made Brussels social-profits look fabulous with a day of voluntary design work.

Make a Mark for the Planet
Friday evening March 20 and all day Saturday March 21
The eighth edition of our make-a-thon for Brussels was a special one, placing climate communication at the centre: we Made a Mark for the Planet.
Our central case was Klimaatzaak / L’Affaire Climat / Climate Case, a landmark climate case with impact far beyond Belgium. The climate crisis remains an existential challenge, yet it is increasingly pushed to the background. We asked Makers for their brainpower to break through that trend.

Friday evening
We all come together to plan and get to know each other. To make sure everyone can go in turbo creative mode Saturday.
All day Saturday
You'll spend the whole of Saturday collaborating in a team, tackling a creative challenge for the central case. We'll provide WiFi, food, drinks, and great company to keep you energized throughout the day.
Selected in advance
We select Makers in advance, ensuring we form the most effective teams to tackle the challenges. We'll let you know at the end of January if you got selected. A few weeks after that you'll meet your team members and the organisation to discuss their challenge, in a one-hour meeting on an evening in the first week of March.

Nope. The Makers gift their time and talent to help Brussels. No strings attached.

About the organisers
Make a Mark Brussels has had eight editions so far.
- Gwen Dubois The instigator. An interior architect and creative activist from Jette.
- Piet Lambrecht Organising it from the start with Gwen. Until recently he led the communication of Muntpunt.
- Frederik Vincx A Maker at many editions before he joined the organisers. He builds digital products for social organisations in Brussels.
- Bernard Polet A Maker at many editions before he joined the organisers. He founded //gaggarin//, a gallery in the Brussels Canal Zone.
